About the artist
Welcome to my art studio! I've been making jewelry for 19 years and love to explore the beauty in contrasts, be it through shape, material, color, or scale. I work primarily with mixed metals, semi-precious gemstone and glass beads, and eclectic focal components. My hope is to create pieces that are rich in detail and aesthetically balanced; pieces you don't want to look away from because each time they’re worn a new detail presents itself. My jewelry has a bold look and is sure to be a conversation starter whenever you wear it. I hope you find the perfect piece here to showcase your style!
I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and my creative path began at six years old when I completed my first cross stitch project. Since then I've dabbled in many art forms, including drawing, painting, collage, embroidery, and bead embroidery, although once I began creating jewelry in 2005 I knew I'd found my permanent niche. With my degree in architectural history comes a background in art and architectural studio environments, and I often take inspiration from my architecture school days when I'm 'building' the large components in my designs.
After spending the last 15 years in multiple western states including Oregon, Washington, Colorado, New Mexico, and California, a recent move across the country has brought me to Greenwood, South Carolina. I'm enjoying exploring my new city and finding new inspiration for my jewelry.
