Auralite-23 is a very rare form of amethyst found only in the area around Ontario, Canada, and is believed to have formed roughly 1.2 billion years ago when a meteor struck the Earth. Auralite-23 gets its name from the 23 different minerals that are found within it, including amethyst, citrine, smoky quartz, hematite, cacoxenite, and others.
This necklace includes 16" of auralite beads and 6.75 inches of 14kt gold-filled stadium chain and is finished with a 13mm gold-filled spring ring clasp perfect for holding your favorite charm(s). The auralite-23 beads are 7mm, and are hand-knotted on mauve 100% silk thread. The findings are 14k gold-filled.
